PSV gives Ivan Perisic an ultimatum as whispers about Barcelona keep coming up.

According to reports, Eredivisie winners PSV Eindhoven have handed star Ivan Perisic an ultimatum to determine what to do next.

In September 2024, the former World Cup finalist joined Eindhoven on a free transfer and signed a one-year contract. Following an incredible season finale in which Perisic scored seven goals and provided three assists in the final eight league games, PSV overcame a 9-point deficit to defeat Ajax and win the Dutch Eredivisie.

After winning his fourth league championship, Perisic was overjoyed, but he did not commit to any plans for the future. "We'll see. Following the title-winning 3-1 victory over Sparta Rotterdam in May, Perisic declared, "My family and I will make that decision."

Following the season, there were speculations that FC Barcelona was interested in the Croatian veteran. According to reports, manager Hans-Dieter Flick is a "big fan" of Perisic, who finished with 16 goals and 9 assists in 35 games in all competitions.

According to reports, the 26-time Dutch champions have given the Croatian a deadline to make a choice regarding his future as PSV awaits his response. Perisic will have until June 30th to determine whether to remain in Eindhoven or leave the team after one season, according to the Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo.

Perisic would take a lower wage to play for FC Barcelona, according to Gabriel Sans of Mundo Deportivo.
