Galatasaray is said to be looking for Ajax defender who is worth €10 million.

 Champions of the Turkish Super Lig. According to reports, Galatasaray has begun the search for Ahmetcan Kaplan, a defender for Ajax.

The 22-year-old Kaplan joined Ajax in 2022 after leaving Super Lig team Trabzonspor in a deal estimated to be for €10 million. Kaplan's output in the Netherlands has been restricted to just 25 games in three years due to a major injury that kept him from making his senior debut for the renowned Amsterdam club.

Galatasaray, the Turkish champions, are interested in the young Turkish international, according to the normally trustworthy Yagiz Sabuncuoglu. Last season, Kaplan only appeared in 15 games in all competitions after manager Francesco Farioli said the Turkish centre-half wasn't fit.

According to reports, Kaplan is really thinking about quitting Ajax and going back to his home country of Turkey. The Turkish player's contract with Amsterdam runs through the 2026–2027 season. On the Sports Digitale YouTube channel, Sabuncuoglu stated that the defender has "positive" feelings about Galatasaray.
